we prepared ourselves well for this tournament. running 16 rounds was no easy feat. neither was 8 rounds of circuit and more sprinting. we worked so hard we pushed ourselves to the limit. 15 feb we played our first game of the season against stc. we drew. exactly 1 month later on the 15 march we played them again. this time it was the semis. early this morning we came prepared for this battle. mentally and physically. we played well we fought hard. encouragements and cheers came from the two rows of supporters. the game was tiring and it was scacry as well. we ran for ball after ball. we never gave up.we didnt care that the opponents were smirking and laughing when we miss hit or that they were getting irritated. grace did a good job in marking joan, although joan was jostling and pushing and almost killed someone. we were strong mentally and we continued to fight to the very last whistle. we drawed 0-0 which was good enough. we entered the golden goal stage, physically tired, but mentally we were strong. we have come this far and we werent gonna let 10 mins pull us down. those 10 mins were the most tiring since the start of the season. we were tired but we were prepared for this. those friendlys after 10 rounds. although tired, but we never gave up. we ran for all that was worth and we played well. because we know we wanted to win, just like the titans did. golden goal ended which means we had to flick. we played well the whole game, never once did we let our guard down. flicking required us to achieve calmness and believe in ourselves. tracy flicked in 1. the rest didnt. and yes. we lost. we cried as the bitter truth hit us. it was disappointing. we fought and achieved so much. we were so close to the finals. yet we lost it just by a little.

i'm sorry i couldnt flick well and i wasnt able to achieve the calmness i should. my flick went off target and i was really disappointed. i'm really sorry.

next year we will fight it back. we will work hard and achieve what we didnt this year. sec 3s if you're reading this, and sec 2s too, work hard this year. we need all the preparation we need and be ready to take on the challenge next year.

b div players dont give up. forget today. forget all these. focus on our next game next week. no matter what, we gonna end this season with a bang and let others know that crescent hockey never gives up
